PLAN A: LYCAONS KISS by S. Briones Lim

Blurb:
Jensen was the perfect boyfriend - or so Morgan thought. Left as collateral for his gambling debts, Morgan finds herself held captive by a group of "Rabid" werewolves and their overly eccentric leader, Greg. As if things couldn’t get any worse, she finds herself accidentally turned into one of them!

Enter Braedon. Tall, dark, devastatingly handsome. Braedon is the Alpha of his own pack of wolves who are determined to make Morgan one of their own. After saving her from the Rabids he takes it upon himself to train and prepare her for his pack’s mission, Plan A.

As a new pup, will Morgan be able to hold her own alongside the Alpha pack? Will her feelings for Braedon get in the way? Better yet, what the heck is Plan A?

Excerpt:
The warmth of a fire warmed my body. It relaxed my muscles, for a brief moment made me forget all the horror I had experienced in the last week and a half…
“Where am I?!” I gasped, sitting straight up. I frantically scanned the room. It was a large apartment, decked in Modern Décor. In fact, the fire wasn’t a real fire after all. It was some sort of televised wall decoration with heat radiating from it. Beside the virtual fireplace, I was perched on a black leather couch, with my leg hung up in a makeshift leg suspension. Quickly, I propped myself up on my elbows. I looked around to make sure I was alone and once satisfied, I began fidgeting with my leg sling.
“I wouldn’t touch that if I were you.”
My hands immediately froze in place. “Who’s there?” I called out, attempting to hide the fear in my voice.  When no one answered I reached for the sling. “Where are you?” I demanded, still struggling to free my foot from its new prison. “Great, finally escaped that stupid room and now I’m tied up in this place,” I muttered under my breath.
“You’re not exactly tied up,” the same voice chuckled.
At that moment I unclasped the sling. “Got it!” I exclaimed. My foot was freed and fell onto the couch. I yelped in pain and grasped my calf.
“Told you not to touch the sling.”
Still in pain, I pushed myself into a standing position. I scanned around, but once again saw that I was alone. Spotting the door, I limped my way towards the far end of the room. The smell of musky cologne tickled my nostrils, I feared my new captor was nearby. As painful as it was, I broke into a run. I reached the door in basically no time at all. I was so focused on the task at hand that I failed to question my newfound speed. Instead, I hurriedly reached for the knob only to find a hand around my wrist.
“Now, why must you insist on running after I did everything in my power to save you?”
Still facing the door, I opened my mouth to scream, but felt another hand placed over my mouth.
“Just promise not to bite,” the deep voice instructed.

Walker Revenge by Bernadette Marie - $20 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

Blurb:
Russell Walker’s life was spared when his truck veered off the road and flipped. When he wakes after surgery, he can only assume the medicines are making him see things, because the woman he loved—who broke his heart—is taking his vitals.

Chelsea Quinn has spent the past four years keeping clear of Russell Walker after she married another man and had a baby. Now she is thrust back into his life as his caretaker, and living with his family when her ex-husband is let out of prison.

Some heartbreaks are too severe to recover from, and Russell is fighting every feeling he has as not to get his heart broken again. But sometimes the pull of love is just too strong, especially when the lives of those you love are threatened, and someone is looking for revenge.

Excerpt:
“I’m heading home. I just wanted to come back in and say that I’m glad you’re okay.”
“Come sit and talk. I really could use some non-Walker visit time.”
Chelsea looked at her watch. “I only have a few minutes.”
“I’ll take them.”
She bit down on her bottom lip and still gripped to the strap of the bag. “I probably shouldn’t have come in. You need to rest and…”
“I wanted to see you,” he said trying to adjust the slightest bit on the bed, but that only caused more pain. “It was a nice surprise to wake up to you this morning.”
“I shouldn’t have even started your vitals, I just didn’t want to cause problems with my supervisor.”
“You never came back.”
“I traded shifts. I thought it would be best.”
“So you don’t want to see me?”
She shifted the bag to her other shoulder and looked at her watch again. “Russ, I just want what’s best for you. I’m not that. Not even now. I don’t think me being your nurse would help you heal.”
“Yeah. Having a gorgeous nurse might ruin my day,” he felt the flame of his anger rise in his chest. “I’m surprised you bothered to stop on your way out. But I guess you’re in a hurry.”
“I am. I hope everything goes well for you. I know your family will be a great support for you.”
“I’m sure they will,” he reached for his bedside remote and turned on that damned TV he’d had enough of. “Guess I won’t be seeing you again, huh?”
“I’m going to rotate to another floor.”
“All the better.”
Chelsea looked at her watch one more time then stepped closer to the bed. “Russ, I wanted to apologize to you.”
He turned off the TV. “You wanted to apologize to me?”
“Yeah. For back when we were together and you were deployed. I’m sorry.”
The memory of it came back to him. The moment he’d seen her that morning, none of that had come to mind. In fact, he was fairly sure he’d told her he wanted to apologize. Well, he sure as hell wasn’t going to do it now.

This blog tour is organized by Lola's Blog Tours. The blog tour runs August 1 through August 14. View the tour schedule here.

A Cunning PlanA Cunning Plan (Sloane Harper #1)
by Astrid Arditi
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Age category: Adult
Release Date: 8 May, 2016

Blurb:
Determined to put her family back together, Sloane Harper stalks her ex husband and his annoyingly stunning mistress, Kate. And she’s not the only one. Handsome IRS agent Ethan Cunning is surveying them too, but not for the same reasons. He is attempting to nail Kate’s playboy boss.
Ethan and Sloane decide to help each other, which sends Sloane’s wobbly life spinning out of control. She’ll have to face danger, humiliation, and scariest of all, the dating scene, to lure her daughters’ father home.

Losing control was the best thing to happen to Sloane… until it turned lethal.
Excerpt:
So far, I have spent more than ten hours this week parked on the exact same street, in front of the exact same building, staking out my husband’s mistress. To be exact, Tom was my ex-husband now, but I was pretty sure he was still my husband when Katherine Stappleton started screwing him.
A sideways glance confirmed Claudia’s eyelids had finally closed, and I sighed in relief. If I had to listen to one more minute of heavy metal, I would hurl myself or my housekeeper extraordinaire out of the car window.
I shot my hand toward the Mini Austin’s radio. But just as the angry voices faded in favor of a monotonous radio show, Claudia’s hand lashed out and slapped my wrist away.
“Go back. I love that song.”
“But I don’t understand Polish,” I said with a pout.
“It’s music, you don’t need to understand it,” she countered, her eyes still closed.
My teeth hurt from the loud screeching she called music. I considered looking for Magic FM again, but Claudia read my mind first. She snapped open one fierce blue eye.
“Don’t,” she warned.
Heavy metal music wasn’t nearly bad enough to risk incurring Claudia’s wrath and chancing her leaving. Listening to any kind of music with her definitely beat sitting in the car alone.
I gave a last, longing stare at the radio then turned my attention to the dashboard’s digital clock. It was 3:43 p.m. according to the flashing orange numbers. Sighing, I thought again of how much time I’d spent here.
The details of my husband’s ‘infidelity’ mattered; they changed the way one perceived things. On one side, you had my ex’s new girlfriend, and on the other, the tramp who stole my husband. Doesn’t have the same ring to it, right?
The same way if you asked Katherine Stappleton, she might have described my endeavor as ‘stalking’ rather than ‘staking out’. If she knew I was hiding in front of her work place, that is, and I was extremely careful not be noticed. Plus, I never left the car or followed her home - the definition of stalking. Legally speaking, I was in the clear. I’d checked on Yahoo Answers.

EXCERPT:
I got to the library minutes before nine thirty, Archer walking a few feet behind me.

"You don't have to act like my vampire bodyguard,” I murmured as I caught a small group looking at him with scared gazes, knowing he could hear me.

"Of course I do. I'm a vampire and your bodyguard."

Rolling my eyes, I paused, letting him catch up to me before wrapping my arm around his. "It wouldn't hurt to smile. Next thing I know, someone is going to report you to campus security and have you kicked out. Then you won't be much of a bodyguard, will you?"

This time he rolled his eyes, but he did relax his facial features.

Together we walked up the steps. My group was meeting in a study room on the third floor. When we arrived at the room, only Jason was there. Opening the door alerted him of our arrival and he looked up with a smile.

Wait a second. For a split second, it looked like he was glaring at Archer. His expression changed so fast I wasn't too sure I saw right, even with my keener eyesight since becoming a vampire.

"Who's this? New boyfriend already?" he asked, a smile on his lips.

Brushing away my suspicions, I shook my head. "He's a friend. He goes to school here too. Engineering major. Fifth year."

I was quite impressed with myself having come up with a lie on my toes. I was going to introduce Archer as a friend anyway, but Jason question kind of caught me off guard.

Jason nodded, accepting my words. "The other two said it will be a while before they get here. They wanted to stop by their dorm first,” he spared another glance at Archer. "Will he be staying?"

In response to that, Archer plopped himself into a chair in the corner of the room. "You won't even know I'm here," he said before taking out his cell phone.

I had a feeling that wouldn't be the truth if he planned on continuing watching his wrestling show. Ignoring him, I sat at the table across from Jason.

"I started developing some samples for the project," I stated as I took my notebook and laptop from my backpack.

I started to go over what I had so far with him briefly as well as sharing our other ideas. Though, honestly, I was ready to leave before I even got here. I still had yet to convince Archer to take me to where Theo had brought me. And by not convince, I meant not even approach to the subject. As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I was guarding my thoughts so Archer would be none the wiser.

Dark Little Secrets by A.K. Kruse

Blurb:
When Tad Stevens meets Alexandria Lane, their attraction is undeniable – but Alexandria is sure that their different backgrounds mean they could never be together. And just when she starts to change her mind, she discovers something Tad has been hiding, and her doubts come crashing back.

Even though their passion drives them back into each other’s arms, more secrets from Tad’s past could make them lose everything.

Will Tad’s secrets tear them apart? Or will the fire between them be enough to let their love grow?

Find out in book one of the Beholder Series: Dark Little Secrets!

Excerpt:
But Tad Stevens was different. He wasn’t exactly free of ego, she could see, but a little ego was okay. It made him confident without being a swaggering peacock. And he was smart; not brilliant, not a genius, not anyone who would change the world. But he was intelligent, and thoughtful. And funny.

And sexy. Yes, damn sexy. The man wore sexy like a cologne, and she was getting a little heady from the scent.

She realized a second too late that he had stopped talking and was waiting for her to respond. She stuttered.

“Oh, I’m sorry – what?”

“You weren’t listening to me? I’m offended,” he said, playfully.

“No! I was listening! I just got distracted,” she said, hoping he couldn’t what distracted her. Having to tell him she was actually thinking about how his hands would feel on her bare chest would be a little too flirty, even for the coquettish Alexandria who had shown up tonight.

Buy on Amazon.
